The new comment policy is as follows:
~ Don’t insult me.
~ Don’t insult the Church.
~ Keep your comment/anecdote on topic.
~ If you want to talk privately, email me. Don’t leave an irrelevant message on a post.
~ Call someone a nasty name and you will be banned. This clause of protection extends to Cafeteria Catholics, dissident clergy, and everybody else who needs prayer for their conversions.
~ Criticize away, but think before you type. I do.
I take responsibility for every single word I write. It is not possible to bully me. There is a 3 Strikes rule when it comes to comments. If you say something I deem inappropriate, you will be warned twice. The third time you will be banished.
This is not meant to discourage comments and I certainly don’t want it to seem like you have to agree with me or I’ll delete your comments. I actually don’t delete comments unless they’re spam. All I’m asking you to do is respect me and the other commenters on this site. If you wouldn’t say something to someone’s face, it isn’t appropriate to write it here.
Despite the fact that I highlight celebrities, this is not a gossip blog. There will be no name-calling or judgement of anyone. Please be gracious and respectful in your writing.
Pax Christi, Rebecca.
