oh, etsy!

Etsy.com is a commerce site similar to Ebay or Amazon.com for handmade items. Prices range from $2.00 to thousands for specially made art, clothes, accessories, home decor etc.

There are some beautiful modest pieces currently listed for sale:

Believe it or Knot dress, $85

Czarina Dress, $120

The Ananya Boutique has some really cute and moderately priced tops and skirts for sale, this one for $35.

And for my plus sized girls, rejoice and be glad! There are hundreds of plus sized items already listed for sale, and many of the designers will make most of their pieces in any size as long as you send them your measurements. Be sure to communicate with the seller/designer before you check out.

Etsy is also a prime source for more feminine every day items, like purses and books. Modestia reader Kristin Saegaert sells really adorable handmade books on Etsy like journals and photo albums.

I typed in “Catholic” to see what I would get: mostly rosaries, pop art, icons, and other jewelry. This rosary bracelet is $20!

Etsy would be a prime resource for custom birthday gifts or a unique dress for that special occasion. I certainly will be highlighting products from this site again!
