Honestly? I literally just woke up one day and decided I wanted to start another blog about modest fashion. I never knew there were websites like yours until a few months ago…before then I would just layer or try to buy stuff that was modestly cut in regular stores.
I also really like gossip and fashion magazines (forgive me Lord, they’re a guilty pleasure) but most of the ones I was reading either made fun of celebrities or were giving out “advice” that made me blush. I started a thread on CFS called “Rumor Has It” to sort of be a positive version of People.com where I could share all of the good entertainment and film news I hear about (since I work/socialize with other Christians in Hollywood). I didn’t want to start a fashion section on my film site, and so “Modestia” was born.
